In this episode, I spoke with Casey Greer, a program support specialist for NOAH, about the impact that community has on people with albinism. Casey has Hermansky Pudlak Syndrome, a rare form of albinism.

[14:50]: Pearl is a character in Blue's Clues, introduced in 2022. Pearl has albinism. Her voice actor also has albinism. Pearl uses a white cane and wears glasses. She also has nystagmus: a condition which causes the person's eyes to shake uncontrollably, which most people with albinism have. Her character was also created with input from the albinism community.
